It’s summer, and you know what that means: getting the fuck out of Champaign.

If you can get away from your crappy job at Express for 20 minutes, you should check out Jay Brannan. He’s playing at Schubas and lucky for you you only have to be 18 to get in (as opposed to the usual 21+).

Yeah … well, CU is nice and all and there are definitely things to do around here, but sticking in one town for a long time kinda drives me crazy. Since there are a lot of people here in the summer who are working and not going to school, there is a lot more opportunity to go places other than the Canopy Club or the Blind Pig. Great places, but there’s so much more available!

I hear ya. And honestly, I love your blog. It’s the good one. And I understand your notion here. I think, perhaps, wording it differently might have been more effective.

Haha, I work at the mall too, which is actually why I decided to write the Express thing. And are all the letters really supposed to be capitalized? That place is out of control.
