I know it’s not Wednesday, but it’s almost 4am here in Norway and I thought I should post some remixes since I haven’t done a remix feature in a while.
The Golden Filter’s remix of Little Boots is by far the best thing I came across. Keeping their own slow tempo, sequenced-synth sound and slowing down the track, The Golden Filter has made something interesting; especially at the midpoint change with the piano. Cool stuff. I am in love with the intro to SebastiAn’s Kills remix, and his build halfway through is stellar. Aeroplane is still on a role since the ‘Paris’ remix. They played in Oslo last night, but unfortunately I am currently too poor to afford 150kr- would’ve been an awesome show. The Belgian guys remix Norway’s own Lindstrøm. And Miami Horror’s rework of an oldie, “Fa Fa Fa”, rounds off this weeks remix feature.
