Annie - Anthonio (Fred Falke Remix)
And Mr. Falke does it again. Not only is this track dripping with warm synth-pop goodness and a hook that you’ll be singing for the next week, but he turns the original Annie track inside out, creating a brand new song. The track “Anthonio” is a single off Annie’s upcoming album to be released this year. There were some worries about the Norwegian singer’s second album since leaving Island Records in 2008, but after hearing the original and this remix, my worries have turned to excitement. Pure excitement.
The single officially drops May 4th on Black Melody records.

This remix absolutely stole my ears. It is probably the perfect introduction to the summer. As an Annie fan, I have to say that I found the original to be a bit disappointing after hearing the remix first, it was much slower.
