From Rio de Janeiro, The Twelves started back in 2006 and include the duo João Miguel and Luciano Oliveira. The name came from the strange coincidence of their birth dates: 12 of July of 1980. They garnered much of their popularity from their 2007 remix of Boyz by MIA. They’re popularity is growing fast, touring alongside acts like Diplo, Van She, LCD Soundsystem, and Pheonix.
