As a kid who grew up in warm & muggy Houston, Tx and a guy that went to high school in Huntington Beach, Ca it’s gettin kinda cold… And to be honest, my knowledge of what you do in “Winter”, as it’s apparently called, is limited to movies, online pictures, and the stories of friends.

These are a few things I’d like to experience as a relative newcomer to the winter weather.

-Buy a coat

-Go Sledding

-Buy another coat

-Throw snowballs on the quad

-Drink hot cocoa on a porch

-Figure out what I’m really thankful for…(booze?)

-Celebrate me and JC’s birthday in the same month

-Laughing Prairie Dog Fest (Dec 4.- Canopy Club)

Look for the small kid complaining about the cold, and say hello.

On December 4, 2009 WPGU is hosting its first annual Laughing Prairie Dog Festival. The show will be held at the Canopy Club and it features performances from The Hood Internet, Santahh, Common Loon, and the Smoking Popes.
