Chicago’s up-and-coming quartet Pet Lions is coming to Champaign-Urbana finally! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since I first heard “Roman History” off their Soft Right EP. which I do believe is downloadable for FREE on their website.
Okay so details, details: WPGU is bring them to campus FOR FREE(!!!) as part of the move in celebrations here at the University. They will be playing a set on Sunday August 23rd at 2:00pm. Why so early you ask? Well, upon further inspection of that date, it just so happens to be QUAD DAY!
Alright let’s start piecing this together. A free show, in the afternoon, on a Sunday, and its Quad Day ‘09. THEY’RE PLAYING ON THE QUAD!!!!!! I really hope you are as excited about this show as I am! Get ready; its going to be really, really, REALLY fun! Oh and be sure to tell all of your friends!
