This blog is designed to get you, the loyal listeners and readers involved in the process of creating, promoting and proliferating one of the best local sounds in the Chambana area. From the bands that came up here to the national acts gracing our stages, WPGU is driven to give representation to the musical talent that drives the C-U scene and makes this place a cultural powerhouse in the middle of a cornfield.
This blog is about you. It’s about me. It’s about WPGU and the ways that we work to get out into our community and get into the heart of the music scene. Here, we will be discussing the music selections we make and the promotions we run, but we will also be looking for outside opinions of the work we do on a regular basis. feel free to get involved in the discussion and really let us know what’s great and what sucks, what you want to hear and what you’re tired of.
Ultimately, the decisions made by the staff of WPGU should be representative of our audience, and we want to know when we’ve lost touch or when we’re right on key.
