Amory Wars, Vol. 1: The Second Stage Turbine Blade TPB (Image) - Hey Coheed & Cambria fans! Be one among the fence and get this book, which reworks the already existing Coheed comics and completes the storyline (which is incomplete without the other albums’ series). Did I mention all of C&C’s albums are about an epic space saga that the band plans to release in comic form? No? I’m sure I did.
Annihilation Conquest #6 (Marvel) - Marvel’s second space war in the past few years concludes - personally I don’t give a d’ast about that. I’m more excited about the monthly series based off this starring a Micronaut and Rocket Raccoon!
DC/Wildstorm: Dreamwar #1 (DC) - Keith Giffen, who wrote for the first Annihilation event with Marvel, continues his penchant for global books - titles that deal with multiple characters and redefines an aspect of that publisher’s universe - only this time he’s doing it for two. Wildstorm is an imprint of DC and has it’s own set of heroes, and now worlds and fists will collide!
Marvel Zombies: Dead Days HC (Marvel) - Following in the success of the first Marvel Zombies miniseries, this volume collects the zombies’ other appearances - from Ultimate Fantastic Four to Black Panther.
Pigeons from Hell #1 (Dark Horse) - A Robert E. Howard (Conan the Cimmerian) short story - a tale about evil and pigeons, something I had already equated with the other.
