The best part of this trailer is how it makes you think it’s for Pan’s Labyrinth 2. It’s magical and the creatures look the same. Is that a nice little fairy on the ground? How sweet. The forces of magic are unseen and exist around us.
And then Hellboy is going to kick their ass.
This movie is going to be phenomenal visually and I can’t wait for it. The monsters look awesome and is that Johann Kraus I spy?

The first one was good visually with the monster designs and fights, but the story lacked slightly when compared to the comics because the main villain, Rasputin’s motivation was never really explained in the film. It shows on FX randomly though, so I’d give it a try, or even check out the first trade paperback collection, Seed of Destruction from Dark Horse.

Was Hellboy one even good? I never heard anything about it, but that trailer looks cool.
