I hate it when people sing for no reason except for to show off.
I hate it when guys play guitar for the sole reason of impressing people, namely girls.
This kid was doing both at once. Loudly. (I could hear it from all the way across the Quad.)
Just because it’s warm outside doesn’t mean you can lose the inhibitions along with the down coats.

You are so wrong here. Once spring rolls around on the Quad, girls get to wear 3 inches of skirt, and guys get to play all the sweet songs theyve been practicing in their dorm rooms during the winter hibernation. Is it annoying? Maybe if the dude sucks. But spring on the Quad is such a relief from the Champaign gloom that a couple nice tunes on the way to class aren’t so bad.
Plus, maybe he’s practicing to be a songleader… thats pretty good projection if he can be heard all the way across the Quad!
