In Fable II, for XBOX 360, you create and mold your character from childhood into adulthood, your decisions affecting their personality, reputation and appearance. The game consists of a vast open world in which you have the choice of following the main story line, raising a family, or simply heading off on your own.

Everything I’ve seen about this RPG looks amazing, and the early previews have been very favorable. The game releases on October 21, and is available as both 360 Standard and 360 Limited Edition Editions.

The Limited Edition includes as bonus DVD, bonus downloadable content (including an additional dungeon and weapon), a collectable figure, five collectable cards, and a 48-hour Live Gold trial card.

Nikki Blight: is still trying to find that damn princess... when she's not writing fresh code for the217.com.

I am awaiting this game with giddy anticipation. I played the Original Fable on the XBox and had a fantastic time with the game.

I most enjoyed the stats section of the game. It kept track of anything from how many people you have killed, to the number of miles that you have traveled in game, to how many beers you drank and including how many time you puked.

I agree that the game should have been a bit longer, but I will have to say that it was very fun to play. This is definitly on my pre-order list.

My goal is to get through the first Fable before the second comes out. I’ve been a PS2 girl for ages, and only recently got my hands on a 360. I skipped the original XBOX altogether… so I have quite a few RPGs on my list now, Fable included.

It can also be played on the PC, so you might check that out as well.

My PC doesn’t like games more intense than Runescape. And it lags something awful on Runescape. ;) No, I’ll stick with consoles for my RPG fix.
