2008 is looking up to be a great year for music. With Ambulance Ltd., Cat Power, Wolf Parade, The Strokes, Coldplay, and Phoenix (just to name a few) all set to release new albums, how could it not be? I recently came across a downloadable live concert of another fellow who is set to release his first full-length solo album within the next few months - Mr. David Bazan. Any fans of Bazan’s former band, Pedro the Lion, will notice a few old favorites on top of the six BRAND NEW songs he played on his last tour. There’s also some really funny Q+A with the audience and an awesome cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
